They surely get some provision for praising something very average and generic as “And this is the #1 most complimented perfume for ladies” 
When an influencer apologizes 5 minutes almost hysterically for not liking some fragrance, it’s so annoying I quit listening.
I do search videos on perfumes I’m interested in and sometimes it has been useful, mostly just more or less entertaining.
